Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, descendant of the Comtes Lafond has continued this tradition of the highest quality and added to the 200 years of history a rare cuvée, Baron de L which reflects the exceptional work and terroir. This prestigious cuvée is only produced in exceptional vintages . Baron de L is known as being one of the greatest Sauvignon wines of the world, characterized  by an extraordinary finesse.

Baron Patrick de Ladoucette has then extended his know-how to the vineyards of Sancerre and used the name of his ancestors, the Comtes Lafond, for his great Sancerre wines packaged in exceptional  flasks from the XVIII century reminding of those used by his ancestors.

A few years later, the Clos de la Poussie mythical vineyard of Sancerre that was on sale at that period, was purchased by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette. The south exposure of this  natural amphitheatre allows him to create a very peculiar cuvée, the Haut de la Poussie.
